UK tax financier BakerStreet Media Finance has struck a partnership with Ivan Mactaggart and hiscompany Meteor Pictures.

Mactaggart will now act asan executive producer on Baker Street-funded films and oversee businessaffairs, effectively replacing Sharon Menzies, who recently departed to joinfellow financier Foresight. Meteor willbe based out of Baker Street's offices.

"Ivan Mactaggart's wideexperience will be invaluable to us as Baker Street's business continues toexpand year on year," said Baker Street director Bill Allan. "We are delightedto be working with him at this key time in the UK film financing sector."

Mactaggart was formerlybusiness development manager at BBC Films and head of business affairs at salesagent The Works. He most recently acted as executive producer for Tracey Adam'sLex Filmed Entertainment on the Baker Street-funded production The Truth About Love, starring JenniferLove Hewitt and Dougray Scott.
