Secondfeature films by award-winning filmmakers Felix Randauand Robert Thalheim have been picked up at productionstage for world sales by Bavaria Film International.

Randau's tragicomedy Die Anruferin is about a young womanlonging for human warmth and devotion who calls total strangers on the phone.Valerie Koch (from Stefan Krohmer's They've Got Knut)and Esther Schweins star in the lead roles for Randau's follow-up to his debut Northern Star.

Thalheim's Am Ende Kommen Touristen,which follows his 2005 Berlinale success Net (Netto),is being produced by Hans-Christian Schmid'sBerlin-based production outfit 23/5 Filmproduktion. Itfeatures newcomer Alexander Fehling as a young Germancoming to Auschwitz to do community work as an alternative to military serviceand being confronted with recent history through the characters of a formerconcentration camp inmate and a young Polish interpreter. Am Ende Kommen Touristen is being co-produced by ZDF'sDas kleine Fernsehspiel unit and PictorionPictures.
