The UK's BBC Films has revamped its production team, promoting Tracey Scoffield to executive producer and appointing Rachel Bennette as a producer.

Scoffield, previously head of development, will executive produce projects as well as retain overall responsibility for BBC Films' development slate. Bennette was previously development executive at Uberto Pasolini's production company Redwave Films.

The BBC's film operation under David Thompson moved to Mortimer Street offices in central London last year. Jane Wright, head of business development, continues in the additional role of acting chief executive at the international sales operation the Sales Co.

BBC Films' forthcoming releases include Michael Winterbottom's The Claim and David Kane's Born Romantic, on which Will Clarke's indie distributor Optimum Releasing is collaborating with United Artists. Other titles for release this year include Stephen Frears' Liam, Pawel Pawlikowski's Last Resort and Gerard Stembridge's About Adam.
