TheBelgrade International Film Festival (also known as FEST) will award threeprizes for the best pitches made at the second "B2B" IndustryMeetings to be held from March 2-4 next year.

Speakingto ScreenDaily.com at this week's Kinotavr festival in Sochi, festival and B2Bproducer Miroslav Mogorovicexplained that the prizes of $8834 (Euros 7,000) would each be dedicated toprojects from specific regions.

Thus,one award would be given to projects from Eastern European countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine), a second forEuro-Asian territories (Israel, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan), and a third forBalkan countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Serbia, and Montenegro).

Thethree winners will be decided by the international professionals andrepresentatives of funds and institutions attending the public pitching of 12projects selected from entries submitted from the19 countries.

Atthe first edition of "B2B" last March, two awards were given to Artan Minarolli's Alive from Albania and MilutinPetrovic's ComradeBunker from Serbia and Montenegro.
