Carver reports to Entertainment One Television president of dramatic programming Noreen Halpern and svp of worldwide acquisitions Lara Thompson.

The new arrival will be based in Los Angeles and will focus on identifying strategic opportunities, properties and partnerships for the eOne film and television divisions.

He previously served as partner with David Hayter at Dark Hero Studios, which formed a first-look television deal with eOne in March 2010. Before that he was svp of acquisitions and co-productions at Screen Gems.

“Benedict has a uniquely broad background and expertise in the industry and I’m delighted that he has joined our team,” Thompson said.
