HerbertKloiber's theatrical arm Concorde Filmverleih has acquired the French film TheBeat That My Heart Skipped, which screened in Official Competition at last week's Berlinale.

JacquesAudiard's film, an homage to James Toback's 1970s' classic Fingers, went on to win the SilverBear for Best Film Music (by Alexandre Desplat).

Inaddition, Concorde picked up directorial duo Joern Hintzer and Jakob Huefner's MeasuresTo Better The World (Weltverbesserungsmassnahmen), which is described as "a lovinglycritical satire that shows what happens when Germans try to change theworld." The episodic film had had its world premiere in the PerspektiveDeutsches Kinos sidebar.

Meanwhile,Splendid Film has announced that it acquired Mike Mills' debut Thumbsucker, which won the film's youngstar Lou Taylor Pucci the Silver Bear in the Best Actor category.
