Former Promark vicepresident of international sales Eric M Bernstein has joined Santa Monica-baseddistributor-licensors Mainline Releasing and Lightning Entertainment in thesame capacity.

Bernstein will work withMainline's vice president of international sales Tannaz Anisi and Richard SGuardian, the distribution and sales executive who partnered with Mainlineprincipals Rich Goldberg and Marc Greenberg in spring 2002 to launch LightningEntertainment.

"I am delighted to join theMainline and Lightning team," Bernstein said in a statement. "From my eightyears at Promark, I look forward to bringing to Mainline Releasing andLightning Entertainment my experience of handling a wide range of theatrical,video and television programming."

Mainline Releasing andLightning Entertainment's recent acquisitions include Hugo Rodriguez's Mexicancomedy Nicotina, Tobe Hooper'supcoming horror title Brew andMark Moorman's acclaimed documentary Tom Dowd And The Language Of Music.

Bernstein worked for Promarksince 1995 as vice president of international sales, where his sales creditsincluded The Blues, a collectionof seven features executive produced by Martin Scorsese, and Rowdy Herrington'sthriller I Witness, starring JeffDaniels and James Spader.

Prior to Promark, Bernsteinworked at the LA offices of Spanish distributor Lauren Films.
