Adam Bester and Bryan LaCour have been promoted to senior vice president at Union Bank Of California.

Bester and LaCour work in the bank's specialised financial services division and report to David Musicant, who heads national banking.

LaCour is responsible for managing the bank's entertainment finance business, which has provided capital to Hollywood for more than 25 years. Films Union Bank Of California have financed include Alexander, The Aviator, Bring It On and Trust the Man.

Bester is responsible for managing the bank's communications and media business, which has provided capital to industries such as cable TV, billboards and new media for more than two decades.

Bester has more than 16 years of experience in banking and finance and joined Union Bank in 2007 from The Bank Of New York, where he was responsible for new business development.

LaCour has more than eights years of experience in banking finance and joined Union Bank in 2007 from Comerica Bank, where he was vice president with the bank's entertainment industries group.
