Jessica Biel has replaced Lindsay Lohan as the lead in the contemporary version of Oscar Wilde comedy A Woman Of No Importance, which Los Angeles-based Myriad Pictures is selling at the European Film Market in Berlin.

Biel, who recently starred opposite Edward Norton in The Illusionist, will play Hester Worsely and joins Annette Bening and Sean Bean in the cast.

Bruce Beresford is directing the story of an ingenue who spends a weekend in the English countryside and turns the tables on her socialite companions when she discovers their manipulative intentions.

Myriad's slate includes the Edie Sedgwick biopic Factory Girl starring Sienna Miller, which opened strongly in limited release in North America last weekend through The Weinstein Company.

The roster features the drama Dark Matter starring Meryl Streep and Aidan Quinn, which received its world premiere at Sundance last month, and the Houdini drama Death Defying Acts with Guy Pearce and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
