Find out about those ’80s-leaning pop tunes that had a starring role in Drive.

Post-Cannes, people are still talking about Drive (especially after Nicolas Winding Refn won the Best Director prize on Sunday night).

And one hot topic of conversation is the music used in the film. The score was done by Cliff Martinez — a one-time drummer for the Red Hot Chilli Peppers who has worked on a number of Soderbergh films.

The song playing during the main titles (who could forget that hot pink!) was Night Call by Kavinsky.

And two other ’80s-inflected gems used during pivotal scenes are:

A Real Hero By College

and

Under Your Spell by Desire

That’ll have to do until the soundtrack is out…
