German producer-director UweBoll said his 2003 investment fund Boll KG4 raised $47m (Euros38m) last yeartowards financing a two-film deal centering on video game adaptations.
Majesco's BloodRayne and Gas Powered Games' Dungeon Siege were both acquired last year and were previouslylisted as Boll fund acquisitions for production, however other projects arealso being considered.
"This successful raisingprovides the company with the financial resources to continue producing filmsthat have known followings already in existence in the marketplace worldwide,"Daniel Sales, international sales agent of Interactive Film SalesInternational, the exclusive sales agent for Boll Kino, said in a statement.
Boll's House Of The Dead, based on the Sega video game, opened in NorthAmerica through Artisan last October and Alone In The Dark, an Atari game adaptation starting Christian Slaterand Tara Reid, is due to open this summer.
