Robocop ruled the roost last weekend and executes at Sony and MGM will be looking for a repeat performance.
The reboot has grossed $57m through Sony Pictures Releasing International (SPRI), while MGM markets account for at least $20.5m. Strong holds are expected and the film arrives this weekend in Brazil.
Stalingrad opens in the UK. American Hustle has generated more than $76.2m, of which SPRI markets have produced $10.4m and the balance through Panorama licensees. Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2 stands at $148.9m.
Warner Bros Pictures International top brass report that The Lego Movie on $66.3m arrives in France and Italy.
The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug has grossed $604.3m and opens in China, while Gravity stands at $433m.
Frozen has amassed $580.9m through Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures International. Saving Mr Banks on $22m has a big weekend and new territories include Italy, Mexico, Taiwan and Thailand.
The Monuments Men gets a big second wave push through Fox International in approximately 30 territories, among them Germany, Russia, Spain, Hong Kong, Singapore and Switzerland. The film stands at an early $11.6m.
DreamWorks Animation’s Mr Peabody & Sherman stands at an early $14.6m and arrives this weekend in Argentina, Thailand, Paraguay and Uruguay.
