Brillstein-Grey Entertainment has rebranded itself Brillstein Entertainment Partners, chief executive officer Jon Liebman and partner Cynthia Pett-Dante, who together acquired the company from Brad Grey in July 2005, announced today [June 20].

Grey's co-founding partners Bernie Brillstein, Marc Gurvitz and Sandy Wernick will continue to help Liebman and Pett-Dante lead the management, television and theatrical film businesses. Grey left the company in Jan 2005 to head Paramount Motion Picture Group.

They are assisted by a team of managers who have been with the company for many years, including Danny Sussman, Andrea Pett-Joseph, Tim Sarkes, Lee Kernis, Margaret Riley, Jai Khanna, Colton Gramm, Geoff Cheddy, Naren Desai, and Amy Weiss.

Partner Aleen Keshishian and Joanne Colonna joined the management division in 2005 from The Firm, along with managers Todd Diener and Mary Putnam Greene. David McIlvain and Missy Malkin arrived more recently.

The television division is headed by producer Peter Traugott, executive vice president Becky Clements, and vice president Mike Marks.

'Many of us have worked together for a long time and, since we acquired the company in 2005, we've attracted a new group of dynamic, highly successful executives,' Liebman and Pett-Dante said in a joint statement. 'Our new name respects the company's history and represents how we are collaborating to build upon it.'

The company's management client list includes Brad Pitt, Adam Sandler, Orlando Bloom, Gwyneth Paltrow, Christina Ricci, Jennifer Aniston, Nathalie Portman, Laura Linney, Andy Garcia, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Kate Beckinsale.
