Liza Burnett Fefferman has been named senior vice president of publicity at IDP/Samuel Goldwyn Films.

Effective immediately, Fefferman will head the PR department overseeing the company's film slate in addition to managing corporate publicity and branding. Based in New York, she reports to IDP president Michael Silberman.

She most recently served as a public relations/marketing consultant for GreeneStreet Films, Dan Klores' Shoot the Moon Productions, the New York Jets, and Conde Nast's domino magazine.

Prior to that Fefferman was the executive vice president or publicity at The Weinstein Company, and before that she served six and a half years as senior vice president at Dan Klores Communications.

'Liza possesses the perfect blend of sensibility and expertise to spearhead our publicity efforts,' Samuel Goldywn Jr said. 'Her energy and experience make her the ideal person for the job. We are thrilled to have her on board.'

'Working with Sam, Michael and Meyer Gottlieb is a terrific opportunity,' Fefferman added. 'They have great taste and are very savvy.'

Samuel Goldwyn Films recently released Milos Forman's Goya's Ghosts and opens Julie Delpy's 2 Days In Paris next month.
