Buena Vista International(BVI) executives were in fine fettle going into the holiday break after The Incredibles' passed $200m at the international box office on Dec 22.

The Pixar hit has amassed $202m and BVI chiefs will look to a pair of strong openings in Russia on Dec 24 and Australiatwo days later to build on that total.

BVI's adventure National Treasure hasalready amassed $44.4m despite a short international run and the picture's running gross will get a seasonal boost with scheduled releases in France (22), the UK (24), South Korea, Mexico and Brazil (all Dec 31).

Fox International will release Woody Allen's latest comedy Melinda AndMelinda in Italy and Norway on Dec 22.

The picture is in the early stages of its international roll-out and has openedin a handful of other European markets so far.

The comedy Taxi has amassed $10.8m todate and goes out in Spain on Dec 22 and Mexico and South Africa two dayslater.

DreamWorks International's Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Eventswas due to open in France and Spain on Dec 22 through UIP. The picture hasgrossed $11.3m internationally as of Dec 23.

Paramount's The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, on $3.1m as of Dec 23, opens in Germany and Brazil on Dec24.

Universal's comedy sequel Meet The Fockers goes out through UIP in Australia on Dec 26, when UIP will also release Phantom Of The Opera in the territory.
