Buena Vista International's(BVI) Brother Bear added $10.2mat the weekend to raise its international running total to $129.8m.

Key drivers in the picture'sbountiful haul were a number one $2.6m bow in Spain on 401 screens for theindustry's biggest ever spring release and the third biggest animated bow everbehind Finding Nemo and Tarzan.

It opened top in Switzerlandon $680,000 from 103 for the industry's third biggest animated bow of all timebehind Finding Nemo and TheLion King.

Bear stayed top in Germany for a second weekend in a row,dropping 31% on a mighty $3m for $8.5m.

Starsky & Hutch grossed $5.9m for $17.3m and stayed top in itssecond wide weekend in the UK where it added $3.4m for $14.7m. It debuted insecond place in Germany behind Brother Bear on $2m from 628 screens.

The Haunted Mansion grossed $3m for a $63.2m international cumulativetotal. Highlights were a third place $1m bow on 191 screens in Italy and secondplace in Australia on $935,000 from 232.

Hidalgo boosted its international running total by $2.8m to$10.4m. It opened third in France, where it was the top ranking US picture on$765,000 and finished top in Denmark on $151,000.
