Rose Byrne, Hugo Weaving and Mirando Otto have joined the cast of Australian omnibus film The Turning, based on Tim Winton’s story collection.

There are 17 Australian directors on board including Cate Blanchett, Mia Wasikowska and Anthony Lucas.
The stories span 30 years in the lives of people in the small coastal community of Angelus, Western Australia. The themes are about the turning points in people’s lives.
Robert Connolly produces for Arenamedia Australia. The Turning is backed by Screen Australia, with Footprint /Madman to handle the domestic release in 2013.
The cast also features Callan Mulvey, Susie Porter and Harrison Gilbertson.
