CineCoup has announced that Lowell Dean will direct the sequel to his genre hit WolfCop.

“We are ecstatic by the reception of international buyers to CineCoup’s first feature film,” said CineCoup president of distribution and sales Brad Pelman. “Based on the unanimous positive reaction to the film, we will be putting WolfCop 2 into production this fall. We can’t divulge much about the storyline at this point, only that it will be dirtier and harrier than the first one.”

“The unique audience-driven model has created a flurry of international interest,” said managing partner Michael Paszt of international sales agent Raven Banner.

“That, combined with the genre appeal of WolfCop and its vast spin-off potential has made both CineCoup as a business model and the film an instant hit with international buyers.”

Leo Fafard stars in the original, set to open across Canada on June 6, as an alcoholic police officer with a habit of blacking out and waking up in unfamiliar surroundings.
