Peter Rogers has been appointed as the new chair of UK trade association Film Export UK.
He replaces outgoing chair, Bankside’s Stephen Kelliher.
Rogers currently heads up uMedia’s London based sales and finance dvision uConnect. He was formerly at Lakeshore International.
Meanwhile Chiara Gelardin of Hanway and Julie Delaney of High Point join the ssociation, which represents the sales and distribution sectors, as board members, replacing outgoing members Andrew Orr of Independent and Samantha Horley of Salt, who is the association’s longest serving board member.
Natalie Brenner of Metro International and Clare Crean of The Works remain on the board.
Rogers, said: “The achievements of the outgoing Chair Stephen Kelliher and his board are clear to see in the greatly raised profile of the export sector at the end of two years of considerable change in the landscape of UK public support for the film industry. The new board and I look forward to continue the work of promoting, celebrating and assisting the vibrant and innovative film sales sector in the UK.”
