Black Book star Carice Van Houten has joined the cast of Boris Damast's Vivaldi opposite Joseph Fiennes and Gerard Depardieu.
Fiennes will star as the composer. The cast also includes Jaqueline Bisset, Lena Headey, Malcolm McDowell and Elle Fanning.
The project will shoot later this year. Future Films is backing the Hand Picked Films and Mechaniks project. Celsius Entertainment is handling international sales.
Michel Shane and Anthony Romano will produce for Hand Picked with Andrea Kikot and Damast for Mechaniks.
Executive producers are Future's Stephen Margolis, Ampersand's Marti Blumenthal, Result Technology Group's Carlos Merlcer and Tayrona's James Ordonez.
Future's other projects in development or pre-production include Menno Meyjes' Last Battle Dreamer, Maria Ripoll's Angel's Choice, Bille August's Burden of Desire, and Simon Fellows' Malice in Sunderland with Mischa Barton attached.
