Amy Adams will attend the 33rd Mill Valley Film Festival to collect the California Film Institute Award on December 15.
The CFI Spotlight highlights “the exceptional talents of a film artist as exemplified by a current project.”
Adams is earning awards heat for her performance opposite Mark Wahlberg (pictured), Christian Bale and Melissa Leo in Relativity Media’s The Fighter.
The film’s director David O Russell will personally introduce a screening of The Fighter, to be followed by an on-stage interview with Adams.
The actress has earned two Academy Award nominations for Junebug and Doubt. Her credits include Julie & Julia and Enchanted.
Adams will next be seen opposite Viggo Mortensen in Walter Salles’ On The Road and is currently shooting The Muppets, voicing the role of Miss Piggy.
