Chris Petrikin has left William Morris Agency (WMA) and joined Twentieth Century Fox as senior vice president of corporate communications.

Petrikin, a former trade journalist who previously served as WMA's senior vice president of corporate communications, will also oversee the studio's corporate advertising and charitable projects.

'Chris is a strategic thinker who brings a unique blend of entertainment business knowledge and journalism experience to the table,' Fox co-president of domestic marketing Tony Sella said.

Petrikin served at WMA since October 2002. His journalistic assignments included the Los Angeles Times, Premiere magazine, executive editor of publications at the Writers Guild of America, West, and Variety.
