Cinemavault Releasing International has acquired international rights
to Lynn Hershman Leeson's documentary Strange Culture, which is
playing in Panorama Dokumente following its world premiere at
Sundance.

The film documents the ongoing legal battle of artist Steve Kurtz, who
was arrested on suspicion of being a terrorist after his wife died
suddenly and the police that responded to his 911 call found chemicals
and art supplies in the home.

Because Kurtz cannot talk about the case, he has hired Tilda Swinton,
Peter Coyote, Thomas Jay Ryan, Josh Kornbluth and Steve Kurtz to tell
his tale. Leeson produced with Lise Swenson and Steven C Beer.
