UK cable channel Cinemoi is planning a series ofbroadcasts from the 2010 Cannes Film Festival. Coverage will include interviews, daily news reports, film clips and red carpet coverage. The free-to-air programming is on Sky channel 343.

The channel is also launching its first Cannes iPhone app, Cinemoi Cannes, offering 10 daily photos.

Julien Planté, Cinémoi Artistic Director, said: “The whole team here at Cinémoi are hugely excited about our broadcast for 2010, this will be a completely unique offering in the United Kingdom. We know there is a demand not just from Cinephiles but all those attracted by the intrigue and glamour that the world’s biggest film festival offers.”
