Universal Pictures has promoted Dylan Clark to senior vicepresident of production and development at Universal Pictures.

Clark will increase the number of projects under his purview andwill continue to report to vice chairmen of worldwide production Scott Stuberand Mary Parent

"Dylan's taste in material and his ability to understand andproductively work within the creative community is a key element in our effortsas we gear up future film slates," Parent and Stuber said in a joint statement.

"Dylan's contribution in helping the Universal team take moviesfrom concept to the screen has been tremendous and we are proud to recognise hisefforts with this promotion."

Since joining Universal in 2001 Clark has worked on such titles asthe Dawn Of The Deadremake and Friday Night Lights, and the upcoming Cinderella Man and The Interpreter.

Clarkis also involved with Universal's video game adaptation Doom, which is currently in production and set forrelease on Aug 5 2005. The project stars Karl Urban and will be directed byAndrzej Bartkowiak.

Clark's projects in development include Public Enemies starring Leonardo DiCaprio to bedirected by Michael Mann, and the video game adaptation Spyhunter, which John Woo will direct and willstar Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock.

Prior toUniversal, Clark served as a director of development at MGM, where he optionedmaterial for Barbershopand Out Of Time.
