The acting royalty will star in the true-life drama, which FilmNation is introducing to international buyers at AFM. CAA arranged financing and represents North American rights.
Former Donmar Warehouse artistic director Michael Grandage will direct from John Logan’s adaptation of A Scott Berg’s book biography Max Perkins: Editor Of Genius, about the real-life relationship between writer Thomas Wolfe and editor Perkins.
Principal photography is scheduled to start early in 2014 and James Bierman will produce for the Michael Grandage Company.
