zero film's Martin Hagemann and Thomas Kufus, producers of Max Faerberbock's September and Alexander Sokurov's Father And Son, are the winners of this year's Producers Award at the Cologne Conference.

The Casting Award went to casting director Sabine Schroth, whose credits include international productions The Name Of The Rose, Homo Faber and Rosenstrasse as well as TV "events" like Der Grosse Bellheim and the two-parter Im Schatten Der Macht which opened this year's Cologne Conference.

Meanwhile, the TV Spielfilm Award for the Conference's best fiction programme in its Top Ten Fiction went to Julian Jarrold's adaptation of Zadie Smith's bestseller White Teeth, and the PHOENIX Award for the best non-fiction programme was picked up Steven Silver's study of the genocide in Ruanda in The Last Just Man.
