The Bahamas International Film Festival has announced that SeanConnery will present the career achievement award to his co-star in The Rock Nicolas Cage.

The festival, which runs from Dec 7 to 10, has also unveiled itscompetition sections. Spirit Of Freedom: Narrative Competition includes IsraelAdrian Caetano's Cronica De Una Fuga from Argentina, Rolf de Heer's Ten Canoes from Australia, and Matt Winn's UK entryJanuary 2nd.

The Spirit of Freedom: Documentary Competition entries includeRonit Avni and Julia Bacha's Israel-Palestine co-production Encounter Point, Heidi Ewing and Rachel Grady's JesusCamp, and Erik Gandiniand Tarik Saleh's Swedish film Gitmo.

Ryan Fleck's acclaimed inner city drama Half Nelson starring Ryan Gosling takes its place inthe New Visions Competition, alongside John Daniel Gavin's Johnny Montana, Kang Ji-eun's Korean entry LovePhobia, and NandaAnand's US-Indian co-production Return To Rajapur.

The Panorama World Cinema programme features Neil Armfield'sAustralian drama Candystarring Heath Ledger and Abbie Cornish, Rick Ray's 10 Questions For TheDalai Lama, and ScottRosenberg and Matt Ruskin's The Hip-Hop Project.
