Kathleen Courtney has been named executive vice president of physical production for Mark Gill and Neil Sacker's The Film Department.

Dave Gare has been named vice president of post-production and Ian Watermeier has been named director of production and finance.

Courtney will be based in the West Hollywood offices, reporting to production president Robert Katz.

She previously worked as a freelance associate producer and production manager on Bowfinger and Daredevil, among others, and started her career at Tri-Star Pictures as a staff coordinator.

Gare most recently served four years as an executive on set for such films as Prime, First Snow, and the upcoming Sunshine Cleaning. For the previous 10 years he was president of New York-based creative agency and production company Cybermedia.

Watermeier most recently served as production executive on Sean Penn's Into The Wild. He previously worked in production finance and delivery on more than 20 films including Crash, The Illusionist, and Dave Chappelle's Block Party.
