Several new members have bolstered the Independent Film &Television Alliance (IFTA) executive ranks following the body's annual generalmeeting in Los Angeles [Thursday].

Joining the seven-person executive committee are: Mark Damon ofForesight Unlimited as vice chairman; Lewis Horwitz of Horwitz EntertainmentFinancial Services as vice chairman, finance; Ehud Bleiberg of BleibergEntertainment as chairman, IFTA Export Alliance; and Lloyd Kaufman of TromaEntertainment as vice chairman.

Chairman Michael Ryan of IAC Film & Television heads up thecommittee and is serving the second year in his term after being re-electedlast September. John Kochman of Unifrance (vice chairman), and Paul Hertzbergof Cinetel Films (vice chairman, secretary) are continuing in the second yearof their two-year terms.

New members of IFTA's 20-person board of directors are: RichardGuardian of Lightning Entertainment; Tony Kandah of Hollywood Wizard; BradKembel of Summit Entertainment; Albert Lee of Emperor Motion Pictures; DavidShoshan of ImageWorks Entertainment; and Andrew Stevens of Focal PointReleasing.

The following were re-elected: Glen Basner of The WeinsteinCompany; Steve Bickel of Aura Entertainment; Nicolas Chartier of VoltagePictures; Roger Corman of New Concorde International; Pierre David ofImagination Worldwide; Peter Elson of Global Cinema Group; and KimberlyFerguson (Independent).

Also re-elected were Antony Ginnane of IFM World Releasing; AviLerner of Nu Image; Mark Lindsay of Kimmel International; Nick Meyer ofLionsgate; Bobby Meyers of Meyers Film Entertainment; Alison Thompson of FocusFeatures, and Kevin Williams of Kevin Williams Associates.

Reiko Bradley of Foresight Unlimited and Mark L Lester of AmericanWorld Pictures will serve as alternates.
