"There is an enduring fascination with Sarah Winchester, butperhaps as much so about the home she continuously built when she moved to SanJose, California in 1884," Lauren said.

"Call it urban legend or American mythology, the houseWinchester built over a 38-year period has been a curiosity and fascination tohistory and horror buffs for years.

"Many believe that her obsession in building the 160-roommansion was likely based on spiritual advice or, more specifically, was givento her by spirits who died at gunpoint by a Winchester gun. She and the house are two uniquecharacters we look forward to bringing to the screen with Peter's script."

Other projects on the slate for Andrew Lauren Productions are CastOf Shadows, a thrillerabout a man who tests the boundaries limits of science when he investigates hisdaughter's murder; and the private space travel adventure Capture The Flag based on a script by Nicole Perlman.
