Arclight Films has bulked up itsgenre division Darclight Films in preparation for Berlin'sEFM and boarded the serial killer thriller DarkRide.

Directed by Craig Singer from a screenplay he co-wrote withRobert Dean Klein, Dark Ride is aboutan escaped serial killer who returns to the theme park ride where he slaughteredtwo girls 10 years previously.

Lionsgate holds US rights to thepicture, which was produced by Chris M Williams and Daniel Bickel and stars Jamie-LynnSigler, David Rogers and Alex Solowitz.

Also on the Darclight slate is psychological thriller Like Minds and the horror story StormWarning.

Like Minds starsToni Collette as a forensic psychologist who uncovers a sinister connectionbetween a teenager and the friend he is accused of murdering.

Storm Warning wasdirected by Jamie Blanks and produced by Arclight generalmanager Gary Hamilton and follows the plight of a hapless couple who findthemselves at the mercy of a gang of sadistic backwoodsmen after becomingstranded in a remote swamp.

Arclight will also be looking toentice buyers with Arthur Allan Seidelman's The Sisters, a contemporary retelling ofChekhov's acclaimed stage play. Maria Bello,Elizabeth Banks, Mary Stuart Masterson and Erika Christensen star alongsideAlessandro Nivola, Rip Torn and Eric McCormack.
