Veteran producerAndy Davis has been named executive vice president of physical production atMGM Pictures.
Davis willoversee physical production and post-production operations for all filmscreated by the company and immediately replaces Jeff Coleman, who resigned topursue other areas.
"I'm excitedabout the opportunity to work with multiple film-makers and to develop thoserelationships further," Davis said in a statement.
"My goal hasalways been to make excellent movies, which this job will allow me to do withmany different creative teams."
In a producingcareer spanning 12 years Davis' credits include Rush Hour 2, Family Man,Enemy Of The State and Love& Basketball, amongothers.
He served as executiveproduction manager at Disney's Hollywood Pictures imprint from 1989-91.
