DDA Consulting, Dennis Davidson’s fledgling support service that advises on international sales, distribution, marketing and public relations, has signed an agreement with Paragraph Pictures to provide strategic consulting for If I Were You.

The drama wrapped in Toronto on February 20 and stars Marcia Gay Harden, Leonor Watling, Aidan Quinn and Joseph Kell.

The story centres on a woman whose attempts to outwit her husband’s sexy young mistress lead to unexpected consequences, including starring as King Lear in an amateurish theatre production alongside the mistress as The Fool.

Joan Carr-Wiggin wrote and directed and David Gordian produced.

“Given the high quality of the cast and script, and the sheer entertainment value of the concept, we are negotiating with a sales agent to present footage from this exciting film during the market in Cannes,” Davidson said.

“Paragraph is thrilled to have Dennis Davidson onboard to ensure If I Were You finds the wide audience it deserves,” Gordian said. “Marcia Gay Harden’s performance in this film is spectacular and Leonor Watling gives a star-making turn as the sexy other woman.”

Davidson remains the chairman of DDA PR and DDA Event Management following the management buy-out of DDA Public Relations.
