The Diamond Discovery section for young film-makers withoutdistribution deals features Larry Golin's friendship drama Cross Bronx, Steven Lovy's edgy romance Mix, Thom Hoffman's profile of CineVegas creativeadvisory board chairman Dennis Hopper in Dennis Hopper: The DecisiveMoments, Luciana Pedraza's profile ofcountry music singer/songwriter Joe Shaver in The Portrait Of BillyJoe and The Night We Called It ADay, Paul Goldman's account of FrankSinatra's disastrous 1974 tour of Australia.

Other strands include cult and midnight pictures under theArea 52 banner, a range of short films and a Nevada film-making spotlight.
