Dimension Films has acquired all remake rights to A Matter Of Size from United Channels Movies (UCM).

David Permut brought the project to Dimension and will produce. The original Hebrew-language film premiered at Tribeca last month and centres on an overweight, unemployed chef who gets into sumo wrestling. Itzik Cohen stars.

Erez Tadmor and Sharon Maymon co-directed the original film and Maymon co-wrote the script with Danny Cohen-Solal. K5 International handles worldwide sales on the original.

Andrew Kramer, president of business and legal affairs, negotiated on behalf of Dimension Films with Avraham Pirchi and Chilik Michaeli on behalf of UCM.
