Abe Sylvia’s Dirty Girl (pictured) won the HBO Audience Award Best Narrative Feature at the closing ceremony of the 2011 Provincetown International Film Festival.

Cindy Meehl’s acclaimed Buck took documentary honours and Hello Caller from Andrew Putschoegl was named best short by the audience. 27 directed by Neil Forbes won the Student Film Grand Jury Prize.

As previously announced Darren Aronofsky collected the 2011 Filmmaker on the Edge Award and Vera Farmiga received the Excellence In Acting Award. The Career Achievement Award went to documentarian Albert Maysles

The Provincetown International Film Festival ran from Jun 15-19.
