Disney has augmented its recently announced 3D line-up with a film about the Jonas Brothers, the Disney Channel boy band and tween idols who are one of the corporation's key revenue drivers.

The untitled film is expected out in 2009 and will feature footage from the recording artists' upcoming Burning Up tour as well as behind-the-scenes documentary footage.

Bruce Hendricks, who directed Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best Of Both Worlds Concert, which was one of the biggest pound-for-pound grossers of this year, will direct.

'We can't wait to start working on this film for our fans,' the Jonas Brothers said. 'It's going to be awesome and we really want to bring a totally unique and different movie experience to everyone whether they've seen us live or not.'

'More than just a concert, this film will take moviegoers inside the band's creative process, and present them in a very intimate and entertaining way,' Walt Disney Studio Motion Picture Production president Oren Aviv said.

The Jonas Brothers' Burning Up Tour is scheduled to kick off in Toronto on July 4.
