ATO Pictures has acquired US rights to Casino Jack from Rollercoaster Entertainment ahead of its world premiere here next week [16] and is targeting a December release.

Kevin Spacey plays the disgraced Washington lobbyist Jack Abramoff as he gets in over his head with the mafia and murder. Barry Pepper, Kelly Preston, Jon Lovitz and Rachelle Lefevre also star and George Hickenlooper directed.

ATO co-founder Johnathan Dorfman, head of acquisitions Sarah Lash and legal counsel Vicki Cherkas brokered the deal with producer Gary Howsam, CAA and legal counsel Uri Emerson-Fleming. Fox will handle home entertainment.

Howsam produced with Bill Marks and George Zakk from an original screenplay by Norman Snider. Richard Rionda Del Castro, Lewin Webb, Donald Zuckerman, Dana Brunetti, Patricia Eberle, Warren Nimchuk, Angelo Paletta and Domenic Serafino served as executive producers.

ATO releases its films theatrically through its partnership with Samuel Goldwyn Films / Independent Distribution Partners and has a home entertainment deal with Fox.
