BAC aso talking to buyers about Borderline and The Sandman and The Lost Sand of Dreams.

Early in the market, French sales outfit BAC Films has closed a German sale (with Tiberius) on Ferederic Jardin’s thriller Sleepless Night, starring Tomer Sisley. The film is produced by Chic Films (the outfit behind Jacques Audiard’s A Prophet.)

It is about a cop whio steals a bag of cocaine. Gangsters kidnap his son in a bid to get the drugs back but, by then, he is no longer
in possession of the bag. He faces a desperate and dangerous race against time to get his son back.

Here in Santa Monica, BAC is also introducing buyers to new comedy Borderline from the producers of Heartbreaker. The film, directed by Alexandre Coffre, stars Francois
Damiens. It’s about a staid, middle-aged lawyer when he discovers a suitcase filled with cocaine. The phone begins to ring with calls from eager clients and the lawyer thinks he has found the solution to his life’s problems.

BAC will be releasing the film in France in March next year. Also on BAC’s AFM slate is the new English-language version animated kids’
yarn The Sandman and the Lost Sand Of Dreams. The company is also representing Isabelle Czajka’s Living On Love Alone.
