Wendy Lidell’s International Film Circuit will distribute the Civil Rights documentary Freedom Riders.

Stanley Nelson’s film premiered at Sundance and will open in theatres this summer.

The film is centred on the more than 400 black and white individuals who defied segregation laws from May-December 1961 by traveling together on buses.

International Film Circuit’s documentary releases include Yoo-Hoo, Mrs Goldberg, The Devil Came On Horseback, and Darwin’s Nightmare.
