Disney has pushed back the release of its 14th Pixar film Monsters University from Nov 2 2012 to Jun 21 2013.

The prequel story to Monsters Inc had been scheduled as Pixar’s second release of 2012 after Brave, an adventure saga set in the Scottish Highlands that will go out in the summer.

Monsters University charts the budding college friendship of the franchise’s two key characters Sulley and Mike, voiced by John Goodman and Billy Crystal.

Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Reboot Ralph has moved into the Nov 2 2012 slot from its original date of Mar 22 2013.
