The partners have earmarked an autumn release for Yaron Zilberman’s debut starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, Catherine Keener and Christopher Walken.

A Late Quartet follows four members of a renowned string quartet who overcome personal battles to preserve their legacy.

“eOne is thrilled to partner with RKO to bring this remarkable film and its all-star cast to US theatres,” eOne Films US vp of theatrical marketing and distribution Dylan Wiley said.

“Our expansion has not only provided us greater access to premium titles, it’s also opened the doors to new opportunities for collaboration with other strong industry players, like RKO. This is a fantastic scenario and we’re all delighted to bring A Late Quartet home from Cannes.”

Wiley, alongside eOne’s president of films North America David Reckziegel and VP business and legal affairs Richard Rapkowski brokered the deal with Andrew Matthews and Suzanne Rosencrans for RKO.
