IM Global handled international sales and co-financed the $30m production with WWE Studios. Neal Moritz produced through his Original Films alongside Wyman of Frequency Films.
The film is based on the life of a British Tourette’s Syndrome campaigner John Davidson.
He predicts films including ‘Hamnet’, ‘Pillion’ and ‘Young Mothers’ will do well with this demographic at the Spanish box office.
The event, also known as Seminici, offers a €70,000 prize to the Spanish distributor of the winning film.
