CEO Glen Basner announced at AFM on Thursday (3) that the company has virtually sold out its first two productions, The Raven and House At The End Of The Street.

Universal has acquired UK, Spain, Benelux, Australia and New Zealand rights to James McTeigue’s Edgar Allan Poe mystery The Raven, which FilmNation produced with Intrepid Pictures. Relativity will release in the US on Mar 9, 2012. John Cusack stars.

Rights have also gone to Germany (Square One), Italy (Eagle Pictures), CIS (Top Film), Scandinavia (Nordisk), Canada (VVS), South Africa (Ster Kinekor), Switzerland (Ascot-Elite), Portugal (Lusomundo), South Korea (Noori Pictures), China (HGC), Taiwan (SSG) and Greece (Odeon).Further deals closed in Bulgaria, Czech/Slovak, former Yugoslavia, Hungary, Poland and Romania (SPI), Iceland (Sam Films), Israel (LEV Cinemas), Middle East (Italia Film), Turkey (TMC), Latin America (Sun), India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore (Multivision), Indonesia (PT Amero) and Thailand (Sahamongkol).

Mark Tonderai’s horror film House At The End Of The Street, which FilmNation produced with A Bigger Boat, stars Jennifer Lawrence, Max Thieriot, and Elisabeth Shue. Relativity will release in the US on Apr 20, 2012.

Rights have gone to the UK (Momentum), Australia (Roadshow), France (SND), Germany (Square One), Japan (Pony Canyon), South Africa (Ster Kinekor), Italy (Eagle Pictures), Switzerland (Ascot-Elite), Scandinavia (Nordisk), Portugal (Lusomundo) and Greece (Odeon).
