Mark Damon’s Los Angeles-based sales and production company has closed key territories on the starry US Dramatic Competition entry ahead of Friday’s [21] world premiere.

The thriller stars Charlie Hunnam, Liv Tyler, Patrick Wilson, Terrence Howard and Christopher Gorham and centres on two men who weigh up the pros and cons of being alive as one tries to talk the other down from a suicide attempt.

Matthew Chapman wrote and makes his feature directorial debut. Kevin Iwashina’s Preferred Content is representing US rights at Sundance.

Damon and his team have closed deals on The Ledge with SquareOne in Germany, Eagle in Italy, eOne in Canada, Independent in Benelux, Horse Creek in Scandinavia, Impuls in Switzerland, West in Russia and Italia Film in the Middle East.

Further deals closed with Lusomundo in Portugal, Mars in Turkey, DD Dream in China, PVR in India, PT Amero in Indonesia, OMC in Taiwan, Provision in Yugoslavia and Myndform in Iceland.
