Fox International has made two key promotions, naming Paul Higginson executive vice-president of Europe theatrical and Todd Huntley senior vice-president of Europe theatrical.
The pair have overseen the release in their territories of Avatar and Ice Age 3, among others.
Higginson will continue to oversee the theatrical distribution, sales and marketing operations for all Fox International films in Europe.
He continues to report to Fox International co-presidents Paul Hanneman and Tomas Jegeus. He joined Fox in 1980 and has held a range of senior positions at the comapny
Huntley has specific responsibility for the marketing function and reports to Higginson. He joined Fox in 2002 as vice-president of marketing, having previously held various marketing management positions with Coca Cola-Great Britain and Gateway Computers, among others.
“Paul and Todd have played key roles in the growth and success of Fox-Europe since they assumed responsibility for the organisation in 2007,” Hanneman and Jegeus said in a joint statement. “In our rapidly changing business, we’re thrilled to have the combined talents of Paul and Todd in our London regional office.”
