Indomina has picked up worldwide rights to Sundance premiere Filly Brown starring Gina Rodriguez, Jenni Rivera, Lou Diamond Phillips and Edward James Olmos.

Youssef Delara and Michael D Olmos directed the coming-of-age story about a hip-hop performer offered a contract by a sleazy record producer.

The Cima Productions, Olmos Productions and Silent Giant Entertainment production screened in US Dramatic Competition in Park City and Indomina plans a theatrical release in autumn.

Victor Teran, Amir Delara, Youssef Delara, Michael D Olmos, Mico Olmos, Edward Rios, Khool-Aid Rios produced and Edward James Olmos, Kevin Smith, Homa Soroor served as executive producers.

Alexis Garcia of William Morris Endeavor brokered the deal on behalf of the filmmakers with Indomina’s svp of distribution and marketing Bruce Kirkland and vp of acquisitions Rob Williams.
