As previously announced, Statham (pictured) stars in the action thriller from Incentive Filmed Entertainment, Sierra Pictures and Sidney Kimmel. Production is underway in Ohio, Louisiana and Florida.

Taylor Hackford is directing and John J McLaughlin adapted the screenplay from Donald Westlake’s novel Flashfire. FilmDistrict will release on Oct 12 2012 and Sierra/Affinity is handling international sales.

Michael Chiklis, Wendell Pierce, Clifton Collins Jr, Patti LuPone and Emma Booth also star in the story of a thief who lives by a particular code.

Les Alexander, Jonathan Mitchell, Steven Chasman, Kimmel and Hackford are producing.
