Bill Johnson and Jim Seibel have resurfaced and arrive on the Croisette with Lotus Entertainment, a full-service motion picture financing, production and international sales company. 

Johnson and Seibel, who most recently ran Inferno Entertainment, have hired former CAA agent Ara Keshishian and former Paramount and Captivate executive DJ Gugenheim.

Both both join the Los Angeles-based company as executive vice-presidents of production and development. 

“Our goal is to find stories that we are truly passionate about and work with some of the world’s best producers, filmmakers and distributors to successfully bring those stories to a large global audience,” said Johnson and Seibel.

The inaugural slate includes the Roberto Duran boxing story Hands Of Stone, to star Edgar Ramirez and Robert De Niro.
